Kazuki Sawada
I am Kazuki from Tokyo, of course Japan, studying at the university of Tokyo.
My part time job is working at Macdonald’s. I started working about one year ago. My work place is located in the center of Tokyo, so working there is pretty hectic. Foreign customs account for more than half of the customs so it is good for my English improvement. But the hourly wage is not high very much and I have picked up almost all skills or experiences I can acquire from the job so I am thinking of changing my job. I have not decided but I think teaching job like a turor would suit me well.
I have a twin brother (not identical twins) and I am an older brother. My brother’s name is Kazuhito(both names start with Kazu) He has a disability ; he cannot count number or read and he uses a wheelchair. When I was a child having such a sibling was a little embarrassing for me, but for now I believe that this experience and the environment where I was have fostered my personality.
Hi Kazuki! I'm so sorry to hear about your brother's situation. I think both u and he are very brave and everything will get better! Btw, could you plz tell us the most impressive thing you encountered during your work at McDonald's? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSocializing with my coworkers from all over Asia, like Nepal, Vietnam, Sri Lanka is a rewarding and interesting experience for me.
DeleteI was surprised to hear that working part-time at McDonald's also requires English skills. I think it's really good for college students to try various types of part-time jobs, not just in restaurants.
ReplyDeletedefinitely i'd say a wide variety of job experience is going to be good for me, in that i can broaden my perspectives
DeleteHi Kazuki! McDonald's definitely should raise the hourly wage haha My friend is always complaining about it
ReplyDeleteYour friend seems to be in the same situation of me
DeleteHi! You're going to change your part-time job because you've already acquried all the skills you can get from your workplace. That's cool reason. Have you ever worked at any other part-time jobs?
ReplyDeleteMcDonald's is the first part-time job for me, since it was not permipermitted to work when i was in the high school.
DeleteHi Kazuki, thanks for sharing. I agree with you that our experiences, both expected & unexpected, make us who we are. Adversities will come. It is inevitable. It is all about how we deal with them. David :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Kazuki! You are good brother! I think it's wonderful that you think that way about your brother. Is there anything you would like to do for your younger brother?
ReplyDeleteI live apart from my family, since I started the university, but I'm thinking of going buck home and seeing him this spring or summer vacation.
DeleteWhat is the most difficult part of working at McDonald’s?
ReplyDeleteHi Kazuki, I was impressed by your story about your brother. I'm also surprised at your Macdonald’s job!
