Kazuki Sawada

am Kazuki from Tokyo, of course Japan, studying at the university of Tokyo

My part time job is working at Macdonald’s. I started working about one year ago. My work place is located in the center of Tokyo, so working there is pretty hectic. Foreign customs account for more than half of the customs so it is good for my English improvement. But the hourly wage is not high very much and I have picked up almost all skills or experiences I can acquire from the job so I am thinking of changing my job. I have not decided but I think teaching job like a turor would suit me well.

have a twin brother (not identical twins) and I am an older brother. My brother’s name is Kazuhito(both names start with Kazu) He has a disability ; he cannot count number or read and he uses a wheelchair. When I was a child having such a sibling was a little embarrassing for me, but for now I believe that this experience and the environment where I was have fostered my personality.

  2. I was surprised to hear that working part-time at McDonald's also requires English skills. I think it's really good for college students to try various types of part-time jobs, not just in restaurants.

  5. Hi Kazuki, thanks for sharing. I agree with you that our experiences, both expected & unexpected, make us who we are. Adversities will come. It is inevitable. It is all about how we deal with them. David :-)
